I invite all of you to become part of something bigger than yourselves. Become a part of the community though either becoming an active participant, or donations. I am trying to meet my goal of $1000 and I am sure I could if every one of you who sees this would pledge at least dollar per hour you want to sponsor, then share it and ask others to do the same.
I am playing for Blair Batson Children’s Hospital (UMMC) in Jackson, MS.
How does this work?
All of you will have a chance to watch me livestream a 25-hour gaming session starting Saturday morning and ending Sunday morning (sometimes I split it for viewership reasons.) You can interact with me online, chat with me, and offer your support and encouragement during the session.
What can I do to help?
You can help in two ways:
- Donate! This is the best way and easiest way to help! All of us pledge 25 hours of our time to this, so you can support that cause by pledging a dollar per hour of time you would like to sponsor. This can be done by going to extra-life.org and finding the participant you want to sponsor.
- You can become part of the team by registering at extra-life.org. Just because you don’t play on game day doesn’t mean you can’t be a part of the team. You can make your own game day as long as you do it by the end of the year!
Be sure to follow me on twitter to stay up to date on the events coming up.
